Our Mission
Built for Life on the Road
Why We Started
Most RV content online is aimed at occasional campers, weekend warriors, and luxury coach owners. The RV Full-Timer Bulletin exists for people who actually live in their RV year-round — and face a completely different set of challenges: domicile strategy, health insurance without an employer, mail forwarding, banking without a home branch, and figuring out where to be every season.
These aren't weekend questions. They're life questions. And most RV blogs don't answer them at the depth they deserve. That's the gap we fill.
What We Cover
- Domicile & Legal — choosing South Dakota, Texas, or Florida; licenses, registration, voting, and mail forwarding
- Health Insurance — ACA marketplace, health sharing ministries, short-term plans, and Medicare for those approaching 65
- Campground Strategy — long-term stays, Thousand Trails, Harvest Hosts, seasonal routing, and membership ROI
- Rig & Systems — full-timer solar builds, lithium batteries, Starlink, and rig selection for life on the road
- Finance & Taxes — banking, state income taxes, self-employment logistics, and building a remote income
- Life on the Road — the real stories, the hard lessons, and what nobody tells you before you go
The Newsletter
Every Monday we send one email covering six sections: a lead article, domicile & legal update, life on the road story, rig pick, campground strategy, and a practical how-to. Written by six full-timers with different backgrounds, rigs, and philosophies — so something lands for everyone.
It's free. It always will be. We sustain this through occasional gear recommendations we believe in and by keeping overhead low.
Who's Behind This
The RV Full-Timer Bulletin is published by RV Insider Media LLC, a small independent media company focused on practical content for the RV community. We don't have a sponsor's logo above the fold, and we don't sell your email to anyone.
"The road is home. Make it a good one."
